Trap to Stop Effects

If this card is trapped or canceled after played, it does NOT jump into the opponent's hand. If a card is trapped or canceled, its card text does not take place and therefor we ignore Mal Profusion's effect. Mal Profusion will however still jump into the opponent's hand if the action is blocked or negated by typing, abilities, or card effects.
